Nastya Saraswati is a multi instrumentalist and a multi genre musician hailing from St.Petersburg, Russia. She found her forte in Indian Classical Music, a dream she nourished since late 2012 but not limited to as over the years she honed her interdisciplinary range to broader genres such as Jazz & World Fusion. She has performed with the musical maestros such as Purbayan Chatterjee, Ranjit Barot, Etinne Mbappe, Zakir Hussain, Taufiq Qureshi, Shankar Mahadevan, Sean Freeman, Gino Banks, Rakesh Chaurasia to name a few and continues her passionate journey in search of eternal brilliance !
Born in St Petersburg Russia, in the family of non musicians Nastya started her first music experience to learn violin upon suggestion of her uncle, who was a professional orchestra conductor. At the age of six she started learning Piano. Where her teacher, recognising her good ears pushed her to learn more of violin instead. Further she was educated in formal music school where she studied Western Classical Music for next 7 years. After some break for other subjects she resumed music and graduated as choir conductor. It is after these years her Indian adventure began as she was fascinated by the country and developed interests in Yoga and Indian Classical Music. She made frequent trips to India in search for Gurus and learn Hindustani Classical and Karnatic music from them.
Determined to make her mark in Indian Classical Music Nastya Saraswati frequently travelled from St. Petersburg Russia to India. To pursue her path she took classes in Hindustani & Carnatic both under various masters such as L Subramaniam, N Rajam & Family, S Akkarai, Kala Ramnath, Indradeep Ghosh, L Shankar, Mahua Mukherjee and more.
She still continues to hone her skills under guidance of her Guru Shri Purbayan Chatterjee and find her place in her Indian dream.
Nastya is a multi-instrumentalist, while violin as her main instrument, she also plays, Indian & Western flute, Piano,
Cello, Harp, Saxophone.

In 2017 Nastya was also a part of Indian reality TV show 'Dil Hai Hindustani’ on Star Plus, where she blended her classical flair with Bollywood which helped her win millions of Indian hearts and brought her to the highly challenging grand finale.
In 2022 she was invited to perform on Colors TV for semi-finale of the TV show Hunaarbaaz Desh ki shaan accompanying Anirban Roy.
Apart from live shows & composing her own music Nastya keeps herself busy as a session musician and as a recording artist for movies & shows.
Nastya also teaches Indian Classical music to students over the globe to inspire them and open their world to the beauty of this ancient music.
